The next thing you are gong to want to do is find the computer sound card and hook it up to the output of the tape. This will allow you to capture the output of the cassette tape on your computer. This step is actually much easier if you have either a stereo to USB wire or a stereo to stereo wire.
3-Change the output levels
The third step is to play around with the output settings to find the setting that gives you the perfect sound. If the music is sounding a bit distorted or choppy, just make a few slight changes.
4-Start the recording
Once you get the recording to the point you want it, all you have to do is click the record button and start recording. Once the recording is finished just save it onto your laptop as an MP3 file and burn it to a CD, that is it!
